Elsevier's operations are organized in two divisions: Science & Technology and Health Sciences. Their products and services include electronic and print versions of journals, monographs, textbooks and reference works which cover health, life, physical and social sciences.

These interactive Flash applications were developed as a part of a comprehensive CD that would accompany a textbook. Some of these applications were built to work with online Learning Management Systems and are SCORM complaint.
