Introduction

A collection of training applications for Panoramic Errors, SLOB Rule, X-Ray Tubes and Dental Patients. This application was developed for students to act as both a study tool and a testing application.

Overview

Using this application allowed the student to have real world experience with managing data and diagnosing issues from the convenience of an Interactive CD. Students could use the application as a testing environment while faculty could use it as testing material for the class. With the applications SCORM integration, it could easily be integrated into current online Learning Management Software.

Interactive Demo

This is a Flash demo of the actual application that is tied to a Learning Management System that uses SCORM technology to communicate scoring to faculty and staff.

Dental Patients 1-10 are real live examples of the complications derived from trying to sort dental slides. Each Patient has a unique set of slides that must be placed in the right slot.

Digital Radiography is a film-less technology used to record radiographic images. This portion features animations depicting the two types of digital imaging with examples of each.

Slob Rule is an interactive depiction of how changing the X-Ray Tube head can affect the outcome of a successful X-Ray scan.

X-ray Tube shows how minor adjustments can affect the image quality of an X-Ray scan.
